INFRASTRUCTURE & FACILITIES:

   Catering to the needs of the learners and in order to provide a healthy and nurturing environment for better learning, at Sanjay Gandhi College of Education we provide multiple facilities with sophisticated and safe infrastructure.

LIBRARY:

The college Library serves the needs of the faculty and students as a Resource centre. The Library at the Institute has the capacity of more than 7,500 volumes on various disciplines. The major collection of library is in the field of Education. The collection comprise of Encyclopaedias, Dictionaries, Atlases, Maps, Educational Surveys, Reports and NCERT Publications. The Library subscribes several National and International Journals and periodicals useful for Teacher Educators and Trainees in the field.

COMPUTER RESOURCE CENTRE:

The Institute has a well-equipped computer Resource Centre with Internet facility. In order to facilitate trainees, a comprehensive training is given to the students for seminar presentation, PPT preparation and various web links to gather the information are provided.

LECTURE HALLS:

College has spacious well ventilated Lecture Halls installed with Multimedia facilities like LCD Projector. Providing a conducive environment, large and well ventilated method rooms are made available for teaching, workshops and other related activities.

SCIENCE LABORATORY:

Science Lab equipped with all the required apparatus, chemicals and specimens, provides the trainees comfortable working conditions to conduct the experiments.

PSYCHOLOGY LAB:

The psychology lab at SGCE as an important resource for the staff and the students is equipped with workbenches which cater to conduct the experiments comfortably. It holds a good number of psychological tests, books, manuals, equipments and other resources related to secondary school subjects.

SEMINAR HALL:

A spacious Air-conditioned Seminar Hall with sophisticated seating arrangement is used for paper presentations, guest lectures and work shops etc.,

HOSTEL :

SGCE provides separate hostel facility for both Girls and Boys with maximum security and good discipline.

CAFETARIA & CANTEEN:

A spacious and well maintained canteen at the college campus provides healthy and hygienic food . A modern well established cafeteria in the college campus provides healthy and nutritious snacks.

SPORTS:

Adequate space and infrastructure is provided for indoor, outdoor games and Extra Curricular Activities.

TRANSPORT:

As per the requirements of academic progress the students are provided Bus facility for Field Trips, Excursions and Community Living Camp etc.
