The Engineering Degree Course has 4 academic years of study in the institution under the university. The students in the first academic year will study the first year course in 2 semesters and appear for the university examination at the end of each semester. Thus, there will be 8 semesters for the entire 4 years course. There shall be theory classes, laboratory sessions and project work in relevant semester. The syllabus and the study shall be as per the regulations of the university.

Attendance
A candidate has to attend not less than 85% of classes in each subject to appear the university examination. However 10% of attendance can be condoned by the Head of the Institution only on medical grounds.

Internal Assessment
There shall be three internal tests in each subject before the university examination. The aggregate marks assessed in the internal examination, shall be added with the marks of the university examination before the announcement of the result.

Examination
The university examinations are held at the end of each semester and thus there will be two examinations in a year. A candidate shall appear in both the examinations in the year and only successful candidates are promoted to the next higher class, i.e. II year or III year or IV year as the case may be. The candidate will get the benefit of carry over of 4 subjects only in a year for the promotion to the next higher class. The examinations are held both for theory and practical in each subject. The results are declared by the university after the examination, at the end of each semester.

Result
The College has been producing excellent Engineers with an average of 93% results in the past years.

WORKING HOURS OF THE COLLEGE
The college functions from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m on working days except on Saturday, the working hours are from 9.00 to 1.15 p.m. Tea break and lunch break are given in the forenoon session.
